“At the One Eighty we help our clients find their way forward, bridging the gap between their current situation or symptoms or medical diagnoses and towards greater thriving in their daily lives. Our work is dedicated to moving beyond “managing” symptoms, and toward genuine neurobiological repair and autonomy

My Story

My path into neuro-restorative strategy is built on a foundation of rigorous academic study and ten years of deep clinical integration. I hold two postgraduate degrees – Metabolic Health and Addiction Medicine, both awarded with Distinction.

I synthesise metabolic science with neural reprocessing to resolve the “allostatic distress” that maintains chronic symptoms and dependency.

I operate as a specialised, clinician-adjacent practitioner, within an elite team of doctors, and I am among a small global cohort trained in Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET). In addition, I use my ten years of body-based and somatic certifications and my own lived-experience of distress-resolution, working with clients in a progressive way where  even the most “stuck” internal states can shift.

What I’ve learned in the last 10 years.

Your body and mind always do the best they can

I believe that symptoms and states such as chronic pain, fatigue, and anxiety and depression are not signs of a defect. They are the signatures of an over-prepared alarm system that is trying very hard to protect you. My goal is to move from “fixing” symptoms to teaching your brain safety. We focus on Thriving over Surviving.

Disordered to Undisordered™

Underpinning our work is our team philosophy: Undisordered™. This is the clinical recognition that symptoms are not a fixed pathology, but a logical, response of the brain and body to an abnormal set of circumstances, chronic stress or trauma. They are a “protective adaptation” by the nervous system to chemical and environmental stimuli. By adopting this lens, we move our clients from a position of “permanent illness” to a state of “physiological transition, retraining and adaptation,” ensuring that the whole person remains the focus. Our clients are people; they are not a collection of symptoms or a diagnosis.

The Team

In modern systems that are often fragmented, The One Eighty operates in a unique multi-disciplinary “Clinical Triangle.”   Through intensive supervision from Dr. Maria Kelly and Professor Jonathan Chick, I ensure that the work I do 1:1 is fully aligned with their complex medical oversight and academic excellence.

My Approach

I employ a 360 degree perspective – from the ground-up (body-based) and top-down (cognitive and neurorestorative).

The mind cannot simply ‘think its way out’ of a sensitised nervous system. Instead, I use client-centred coaching approaches, neurological interventions like EAET and Pain Reprocessing therapeutic techniques alongside body-based protocols to retrain the brain and body brain’s “control and predict” machine, moving the signals from “danger” to “safe”.

My work follows a specific roadmap: Prepare. Stabilise. Strengthen.

Whether we are navigating chronic medicated or unmedicated stress or addressing metabolic barriers to recovery, the focus is always on building a robust foundation for sustainable change. We don’t just wait for you to be “ready”; we build that readiness together.

Stop Managing Symptoms.

Start Reclaiming Your Life.

Move beyond coping and reclaim a life that YOU lead.
